WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE GEBERIT HOME APP AND THE GEBERIT AQUACLEAN APP?

With the Geberit Home app, you can find all Geberit applications in just one app. The user guidance has been optimized with clear, large tiles and is characterized by intuitive operation.


WHAT BENEFITS DO I GET FROM THE GEBERIT HOME APP?

  • The Geberit Home app supports you in taking your first steps with your AquaClean shower toilet. It provides you with an easy way to register your device so that you can benefit from an extended warranty period. In the app, you will also find helpful information on how to maintain and care for your device.

HAVE INSTALLED THE GEBERIT AQUACLEAN APP. CAN I CONTINUE TO USE IT?

We recommend that you switch to the Geberit Home app. In the future, there will only be one app and the Geberit AquaClean app will no longer be supported.


HOW DO I CONNECT MY AQUACLEAN TO THE GEBERIT HOME APP?

The connection is made via the Bluetooth function (BLE, Bluetooth Low Energy). On your smartphone, turn on Bluetooth and location sharing. The next steps will be shown in the app.


WHY DO I HAVE TO ACTIVATE LOCATION SHARING TO USE THE GEBERIT HOME APP?

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is connected to location services on Android devices. The reason for this is beacons (a technology from Google that is based on BLE technology). Therefore, it is necessary for every Android device to enable location sharing in order to use an app whose components work with BLE. Geberit does not use location sharing.


WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THE GEBERIT HOME APP?

The Geberit Home app is available for Android and iOS smartphones in the respective app store.


HOW DOES GEBERIT ENSURE SECURITY AND DATA PROTECTION?

Geberit apps and IoT services are developed and operated in accordance with high security standards. In addition, a review is carried out at regular intervals by external, independent cyber security specialists.
